The Sims franchise celebrates its 25th anniversary on February 4, 2025, with special events and updates for The Sims 4.
A new main menu design focusing on save files and a less ad-heavy layout was released on January 14, alongside refreshed designs for iconic in-game homes like the Goth and Landgraab families.
A significant free update on February 4 will introduce over 70 new Create-A-Sim and Build/Buy items, including hairstyles, clothing, and furniture options.
The February 4 update will also launch a limited-time 'Blast from the Past' event featuring nostalgic 2000s-themed rewards like inflatable furniture and themed quests.
Three new paid content Kits, including one created in collaboration with popular content creator LilSimsie, will be available starting January 16.
