- PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 now offer two free downloads: a story demo and a separate battle demo.
- Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 have the story demo that covers the prologue and supports save transfer to launch.
- The battle demo is exclusive to PlayStation and focuses on combat in the Grim Garten scenario with teams led by Van, Rean, and Kevin.
- PS Plus is not required to play either demo, and PS Plus Premium members can cloud stream both on PlayStation.
- The worldwide release is set for January 15, 2026 on PS5, PS4, Switch, Switch 2, and PC, with no Xbox version announced.
