'The Last of Us' Season 2 Enlists Emmy-Winning 'Succession' Director Mark Mylod

New directors from 'Perry Mason', 'Watchmen', and 'Loki' also join the team, with filming set to begin in February.

Emmy-winning director Mark Mylod, known for his work on 'Succession', is among four new directors set to helm 'The Last of Us' season 2.
Other new directors include Nina Lopez-Corrado ('Perry Mason'), Stephen Williams ('Watchmen'), and Kate Herron ('Loki').
Returning directors include Peter Hoar, who received an Emmy nomination for directing a season 1 episode, and showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann.
Season 2 will follow the storyline of 'The Last of Us Part 2' video game, focusing on an 18-year-old Ellie and her life as an adult following the events of Part 1.
Season 2 is set to begin filming in February, with no release date or episode count announced yet.
