The Last of Us Part II Remastered to Launch with New 'No Return' Mode

Naughty Dog's senior character designer warns the mode is 'stressful' and 'not recommended for weak hearts'.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered is set to release on PlayStation 5 on January 19th.
The remastered version will feature a new roguelike survival mode called 'No Return'.
'No Return' mode will have players go on runs with randomized encounters in locations from the main campaign.
Senior character designer at Naughty Dog, Del Walker, warned that the mode is 'stressful' and 'not recommended for weak hearts'.
The remastered version will also include 'Lost Levels', which are early-development versions of three levels that did not make it into the actual campaign.
