- This version of The Joker is not from the Batman: Arkham series, but is an Elseworlds Joker who was already a member of the Suicide Squad in his own universe.
- The Joker's gameplay is described as fast and dynamic, requiring players to stay moving. He uses a rocket-powered umbrella for traversal and combat.
- Alongside The Joker, the first season will introduce a new playable environment, new boss fights, enemy variants, DC villain-themed weapons and gear, and new narrative content centered on Two-Face and Scarecrow.
