‘The End Of Evangelion’ Set for Historic Theatrical Release in North America

For the first time, the iconic anime film will be screened in select theaters on March 17 and 20, 2024, in its original Japanese with English subtitles.

Hideaki Anno’s ‘The End of Evangelion’ will play in theaters nationwide for two nights only, marking its first theatrical release in North America.
Originally released in 1997 as an alternative ending to the ‘Neon Genesis Evangelion’ series, the film has been celebrated as one of the greatest animated features.
Distributed by GKIDS, the screenings will feature the original Japanese language version with English subtitles.
