• The Drifter, developed by Melbourne studio Powerhoof, will launch on PC on July 17, 2025, with a Nintendo Switch edition planned later this year.

• The pixel-art thriller follows drifter Mick Carter as he uncovers a web of corporate conspiracy, supernatural resurrection and murder.
• Gameplay blends traditional point-and-click puzzles with a mental-inventory dialogue system that lets players track and query key topics.
• The game’s moody synth score and gritty visuals draw on Stephen King, John Carpenter, Michael Crichton and 1970s Ozploitation cinema.
