‘The Devil Wears Prada’ Musical Premieres to Star-Studded London Gala

The West End adaptation, featuring music by Elton John and starring Vanessa Williams, dazzles audiences and fashion icons alike.

The world premiere of 'The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical' took place at London's Dominion Theatre, attracting celebrities including Anna Wintour, Lily Collins, and Donatella Versace.
Vanessa Williams stars as Miranda Priestly, with Georgie Buckland and Amy Di Bartolomeo taking on the roles of Andy Sachs and Emily, respectively, from the iconic 2006 film.
Elton John composed the musical’s score, adding to his celebrated theater portfolio, and expressed pride in the production during the event.
The premiere doubled as a charity gala supporting the Elton John AIDS Foundation, followed by a fashion-inspired afterparty at the British Museum.
Producers aim to bring the musical to Broadway after its West End run, with tickets currently available through 2025.
