'The Curse' Episode 7: Delusions and Relationships

Whitney secures Cara's involvement in 'Fliplanthropy' while Asher's struggles continue

In the seventh episode of 'The Curse', the main characters continue to grapple with their personal delusions and relationships. Nala, a young girl, believes she has magical powers and tries to use them against her school bully.
Whitney, played by Emma Stone, attempts to win over artist Cara by buying an offensive statue that Cara had pointed out, thinking Cara could use it in her art. This move backfires, highlighting Whitney's lack of understanding and sensitivity.
Whitney also offers Cara a consulting role on her show, 'Fliplanthropy', and manages to convince her to sign a release form for her artwork to be featured on the show. However, the money for this role comes directly from Whitney's father, not the show's budget.
Asher, Whitney's husband, attends a comedy class where he is pushed to make a self-deprecating joke about his penis size, leading to discomfort and conflict in the class. He is later seen recording and analyzing his arguments with Whitney in an attempt to improve their relationship.
