• The Coral have released an 8-bit version of their debut single “Shadows Fall” as a preview of their upcoming project.
• Bassist Paul Duffy used the miniBit platform to rework the band’s entire 2002 self-titled debut into a lo-fi video game style.
• The 8-bit tracks feature throughout James Slater’s Dreaming Of You documentary, which premiered at Sheffield Doc Fest.
• AV8 Records will issue the reimagined album on limited red vinyl, a 40-copy Games Box Audio Cassette and a standard CD.
• Titled The Coral Caves Of Illusion – Debut Album Celebration, the full collection ships September 5, with pre-orders available now.
