Edebiri's 'SNL' Debut Follows Successful Awards Season, Lopez to Perform Ahead of New Album Release

Ayo Edebiri, star of 'The Bear', is set to make her hosting debut on 'Saturday Night Live' on February 3, with Jennifer Lopez serving as the musical guest.
Edebiri's appearance on 'SNL' comes after a successful awards season where she won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, the Golden Globe for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy and the Critics’ Choice Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in 'The Bear'.
Jennifer Lopez's performance on 'SNL' will be her fourth appearance as a musical guest. She is set to release her new album, 'This Is Me… Now', on February 16.
'The Bear', the show Edebiri stars in, has also won big at the Primetime Emmys, winning a total of six awards including Outstanding Comedy Series.
Edebiri has also starred in 'Bottoms', and was a writer for shows such as 'Big Mouth' and 'Dickinson' among others.
