Overview

• Bihar Police arrested Izmamul Alam, 21, after he allegedly opened fire during a raid in Gopalganj and was shot in the leg.
• The operation followed tip‑offs and inputs from an earlier arrest of Deepak Rai, involving a joint team of the SIT, STF and district police in the Riki/Rikal Tola area.
• Officers recovered parts of the stolen golden crown and a mobile phone said to have been used in the crime, along with other evidence from the spot.
