Thane Traffic Bans Heavy Vehicles Entering Bhiwandi After Doctor’s Pothole Death

Police arrested the truck driver on negligence charges following CCTV of the fatal crash.

  • Dr. Mohammad Naseem Ansari, 58, died around midnight on Aug 22–23 after his scooter skidded on an uneven stretch under the APJ Abdul Kalam flyover at Vanjar Patti Naka and he came under a truck’s rear wheel.
