Overview
- The restrictions run from 12:01 am on December 12 to 11:59 pm on December 14 across stretches between Gaimukh Nirakendra, Kajupada and the area near the Fountain Hotel.
- All 6- and 10-wheel goods vehicles will be stopped at Y Junction and Kapurbawdi Junction, with diversions via Kharegaon Toll Plaza–Mankoli–Anjurphata–Nashik Road or through Kasheli–Ajurphata.
- Traffic from Mumbra and Kalwa will be turned at Kharegaon Toll Plaza, while vehicles from Nashik must reroute at Mankoli Naka toward Ajurphata.
- Light vehicles from Thane may use a temporary contraflow at Gaimukh Chowki to rejoin near the Fountain Hotel cut, with emergency and essential services exempt from the controls.
- PWD and TMC are executing DBM and mastic repairs, and Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik has set targets to finish final-stage works by December 15 and the linked service road by January 15.
