  • Authorities expect over 30,000 idols to be immersed at Halasuru Lake, with one‑way conversions on Kensington Road and Annaswamy Modaliyar Road and parking bans near lake entrances.
  • The advisory for Halasuru Lake is signed by Sahil Bagla, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (East), who urged motorists to follow signage and police directions.
  • Thane Traffic Police set festival‑day curbs on Aug 28, Aug 31, Sept 2, and Sept 6 from noon until processions end, with exemptions for ambulances, police, fire services, and authorised immersion vehicles.
  • HSR Layout Police permitted immersions at Agar Lake covering nearby localities and issued alternative routes, cautioning of heavy traffic on immersion days and especially on the 14th day.
