Overview

• Weekday use of Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels declined by 5% to about 91,000 vehicles following the introduction of tolls in April.

• Approximately 13% of drivers are dodging tunnel fees by rerouting to the free Woolwich Ferry, where weekday traffic has risen 36% and weekends by 58%.
