  • If approved, the scheme would run from September to November 2025 and provide one free round-trip domestic flight with a 20kg baggage allowance to eligible international air arrivals.
  • The government would cover fares up to 1,750 baht for one-way tickets or 3,500 baht for round trips, with a total allocation for 200,000 tickets.
  • Six carriers have agreed to participate: Thai Airways, Thai AirAsia, Bangkok Airways, Nok Air, Thai Lion Air and Thai Vietjet.
  • Free tickets would be offered when booking international flights through airlines or online travel agents, and travellers who already booked trips would not qualify.
  • Officials project 8.8 billion baht in added revenue as Thailand seeks a return to roughly 40 million visitors in 2025 after reporting 20.8 million arrivals through August 17.
