  • Airbus and the Royal Thai Air Force signed for one A330 MRTT+ based on the A330‑800, marking the first order for the upgraded variant.
  • The airframe is in production and is scheduled to arrive at Airbus’s Getafe facility in 2026 for military conversion before final delivery in 2029.
  • The aircraft will carry both hose‑and‑drogue pods and a fuselage‑mounted boom, enabling refuelling of Thailand’s Gripen and F‑16 fighters.
