Thai Woman Found Alive in Coffin Moments Before Cremation at Bangkok-Area Temple

A missing death certificate stalled the rites, giving workers time to hear knocking that prompted an emergency call.

  • Doctors later attributed her condition to severe hypoglycaemia rather than cardiac or respiratory failure, reported her stabilized, and kept her under observation.
