Thai Woman Admits to Renting Spaces for Illegal Prostitution in Germany

A 45-year-old Thai woman confessed to renting rooms to illegally residing Thai nationals for prostitution in Germany.
The prosecution alleges she operated brothels in Winsen, Marne, Hamburg, and Schwerin from March 2020 to January 2024.
She is accused of 34 counts of human smuggling and allegedly profited around €414,000 from these activities.
The trial includes allegations of her involvement in a criminal network in 17 of the 34 cases.
A plea deal may result in a prison sentence capped at four years and one month, with the trial continuing on October 29.
