Despite her deteriorating condition, her manager refused further sick leave without another medical certificate.
Fearing job loss, May returned to work on September 13 but collapsed after just 20 minutes.
She was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery but died from necrotising enterocolitis the following day.
Delta Electronics has expressed deep condolences and launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
