TGSPDCL Launches ‘Currentolla Praja Baata’ for Direct Consumer Outreach and Network Checks
The utility is mobilising about 9,500 employees for thrice-weekly field visits.
Overview
- Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu inaugurated the programme on Wednesday in Parigi.
- Teams from the Chairman and Managing Director to linemen will visit the field every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday to meet consumers and register complaints.
- The rollout spans erstwhile Nalgonda, Medak, Mahabubnagar and Ranga Reddy districts along with Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
- Crews will inspect thousands of kilometres of LT, 11 kV and 33 kV lines, distribution transformers and AB switches with on-the-spot rectifications where feasible.
- TGSPDCL says the drive aims to improve power quality and reliability, reduce complaints, strengthen the network and minimise losses.
