TGSPDCL Launches ‘Currentolla Praja Baata’ for Direct Consumer Outreach and Network Checks

Overview

• Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu inaugurated the programme on Wednesday in Parigi.
• Teams from the Chairman and Managing Director to linemen will visit the field every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday to meet consumers and register complaints.
• The rollout spans erstwhile Nalgonda, Medak, Mahabubnagar and Ranga Reddy districts along with Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
• Crews will inspect thousands of kilometres of LT, 11 kV and 33 kV lines, distribution transformers and AB switches with on-the-spot rectifications where feasible.
• TGSPDCL says the drive aims to improve power quality and reliability, reduce complaints, strengthen the network and minimise losses.
