• On August 13 and 14, Taylor revealed the full 22-track Escape Room lineup, showcasing its cinematic narrative through scripted interludes and songs.
• Narrations on the album will come from Taraji P. Henson, La La Anthony, Jodie Turner-Smith, Regina King, Niecy Nash, Kerry Washington, Issa Rae and Sarah Paulson.
• Musical collaborators include Jill Scott, Tyla, Lucky Daye, Kaytranada, Tasha Smith and contributions from Taylor’s daughters Rue Rose and Junie Shumpert.
• A companion short film directed by Taylor under her The Aunties imprint will premiere with the album to extend its post-apocalyptic noir romance concept.
• Despite announcing emergency surgery to remove a noncancerous vocal-cord growth, Taylor confirmed that the Escape Room rollout will proceed as planned and she has paused select promotional appearances.
