• Taylormade Enterprises/Def Jam issued the fourth studio album on Aug. 22 following Taylor’s previously announced hiatus.
• Amazon Music hosted an exclusive livestream of the companion short film at 8 p.m. PT with a Lena Waithe–moderated Q&A, with viewing available afterward on Prime Video.
• The concept project spans 22 tracks with narration from Taraji P. Henson, Sarah Paulson, La La Anthony, Niecy Nash and Kerry Washington, plus collaborations with Jill Scott, Tyla, Lucky Daye and Kaytranada, and it closes with a track featuring her daughters.
• Taylor wrote, directed, produced and stars in the short film under her all-female collective, The Aunties.
