• Pamela Jean Stanley was indicted by a Parker County grand jury on July 10 on charges of criminal solicitation to commit murder after authorities say she plotted to mail fentanyl-laced chocolates to her ex-husband.
• An undercover sting on May 30 in Weatherford led to her arrest when she attempted to purchase powdered fentanyl from an investigator.
• She faces three felony counts—solicitation of murder, attempted murder and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver—and was released on $450,000 bond.
• Investigators also recovered 9.5 grams of methamphetamine at the time of her arrest, and court records show she pleaded guilty in 2019 to unlawful firearm discharge.
