Overview
- Texans must be registered by Monday, Oct. 6 to participate in the Nov. 4 election, with early voting scheduled for Oct. 20–31.
- Residents can register by printing, signing and mailing the Secretary of State’s online application or by registering in person at their county voter registrar’s office.
- El Paso County’s Elections Department is accepting in-person registrations until 5 p.m. today at 500 E. San Antonio Ave., Suite 314.
- Paper applications are also available at post offices, DPS offices, public libraries, Texas Health and Human Services offices and many high schools, and a registration certificate is mailed after processing.
- Voters can check registration status and polling locations on the Texas Secretary of State’s My Voter Portal, and in-person voting requires an acceptable photo ID.
