Texas Tech's Star Running Back Tahj Brooks Returns for 2024 Season

After a breakout year with 1,443 rushing yards, Brooks commits to a fifth season with the Red Raiders.

Tahj Brooks, Texas Tech's leading rusher, has announced he will return for the 2024 season.
Brooks, who was fourth among FBS players with 1,443 rushing yards this season, led Texas Tech in rushing for the past three seasons.
He averaged 5.4 yards per carry and scored nine touchdowns in the 2023 season.
Brooks led all FBS players with 91 missed tackles forced and was third among Power 5 players with 919 yards after contact.
Texas Tech, which ended the season 6-6, will face Cal in the Independence Bowl on Dec. 16.
