• Behren Morton left in the second quarter after Kansas edge rusher Leroy Harris III landed on his lower right leg on a sack and he was later ruled out, returning to the sideline in street clothes.
• Coach Joey McGuire said the issue appeared similar to Morton's season-opening hyperextension of his right knee, with further evaluation set for Sunday.
• Redshirt freshman Will Hammond replaced Morton and ran for touchdowns of 20 and 10 yards to help close out the win.
