Texas State Trooper Kevin Ramirez Vasquez Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle

- Ramirez Vasquez succumbed to his injuries on September 28, as announced by the Texas Department of Public Safety (TXDPS).
- A graduate of the TXDPS Academy, Ramirez Vasquez was also a U.S. Army veteran and was serving in the National Guard.
- He is the 241st officer to die in the line of duty since 1823 and is survived by his parents and three siblings.
