Overview

• Allstate selected Taaffe to a national Good Works roster that recognizes 22 college players and one head coach for community service.
• By making the Good Works Team, Taaffe becomes a semifinalist for the Allstate Wuerffel Trophy that honors service, leadership and on-field performance.
• The Wuerffel Trophy winner is scheduled to be announced on Dec. 12 at the Home Depot College Football Awards.
• Taaffe launched “Taaffe's Tackles for Fentanyl Awareness” in memory of friend Jake Ehlinger to raise education and resources about fentanyl.
• He volunteers with Meals on Wheels, Welcome Table ATX, Dell Children's Hospital and the YMCA, and he partners with Crime Stoppers of Houston’s Million for Million Campaign.
