  • Eligible Texans must submit a paper application in person or by mail to their county registrar by Monday, Feb. 2 to vote in the March primaries.
  • Voters can confirm registration or update addresses through the state’s Votetexas.gov portal, and prepaid-mail applications are available upon request.
  • Early in-person voting begins Tuesday, Feb. 17, with sources listing different end dates, so voters should check local schedules; Election Day is Tuesday, March 3.
  • The deadline to request a mail ballot is Friday, Feb. 20 for those eligible, including voters 65 and older, people with illnesses or disabilities, near-term expectant parents, those outside their county for the full voting period, and eligible jailed individuals.
  • County rules differ on where to cast ballots, with Travis County allowing countywide sites and Williamson County requiring voters to use their home precinct with separate locations for each party.
