Texas Player Wins $800 Million Mega Millions Jackpot

The grand prize ticket was sold at a Murphy USA gas station in Sugar Land, marking the third jackpot win of 2024.

The winning numbers for the $800 million jackpot were 1, 2, 16, 24, 66, and Mega Ball 6.
The Texas winner can choose a lump sum of $404.2 million or an annuity over several years.
Four other tickets, sold in California, Florida, New York, and Washington, won $1 million each.
The jackpot resets to $20 million for the next drawing on Friday, September 13.
More than 2.1 million tickets won smaller prizes ranging from $2 to $40,000 in the latest drawing.
