Texas Officer Saves Choking Woman on Highway

On January 13, Officer Chad Stevens of the Mansfield Police Department saved a woman named Samantha who was choking on chewing gum on Interstate 20.
Samantha had been driving with her hazard lights on for about 15 minutes, seeking help after a vehicle swerved in front of her, causing her to inhale sharply and choke.
Body-camera and dashcam footage released by the police department shows the dramatic rescue.
Stevens was praised for his quick thinking and life-saving actions during the incident.
