Overview
- Witnesses said the suspect arrived around midnight, sat alone drinking for about an hour, left briefly, then returned around 2:30 a.m. and opened fire on the outdoor patio.
- Authorities said the gunman used a .40- or .45-caliber handgun and fired at least 20 rounds before fleeing.
- One victim later died at Memorial Hermann–Texas Medical Center, and two of the five wounded remain in critical condition after being airlifted.
- The suspect fled in a white full-size van with no side windows, described by officials as having a long scratch, and has not been identified.
