Overview
- On July 14, a maintenance worker at a Kingsville Walmart discovered a newborn wrapped in a restroom trash bag and employees administered CPR until paramedics arrived.
- Surveillance footage showed the teenager entering the restroom for about 40 minutes before exiting and leaving the store roughly 30 minutes before the infant was found.
- Deputies with the Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office tracked the teen’s vehicle in the parking lot and took her to a nearby hospital for treatment.
