Texas Fugitive Extradited From Canada to Face 30 Sexual Assault Warrants in Hays County

A multinational extradition process cleared the way for his return to Hays County custody.

  • Buda police first arrested him on July 13, 2021 on two second-degree felony sexual assault counts, and he posted a $103,500 bond within two days.
  • Investigators obtained about 30 sexual assault warrants in November 2021 through Justice of the Peace Precinct 5.
  • Authorities learned he was living in Toronto, and Canadian police arrested him on unrelated charges on June 27, 2025, which allowed continued detention.
  • The Hays County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Marshals Service and the Hays County District Attorney worked to secure federal approvals from the U.S., Mexico and Canada for extradition.
