Texas Election Day Tuesday: Where To Vote and What ID You Need

Overview

  • Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, with Williamson County allowing voting at any county Vote Center from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Voters can look up their polling place through VoteTexas.gov by using the My Voter Portal and the Voting Locations tool.
  • Acceptable photo IDs for in-person voting include a Texas driver license, election identification certificate, personal ID card, handgun license, U.S. passport, U.S. military ID, or U.S. citizenship certificate.
  • Voters who do not have an acceptable photo ID may present approved supporting documents such as a utility bill or bank statement and must complete a Reasonable Impediment Declaration at the polls.
  • Ballots also include local races and propositions in multiple cities, school districts, and special districts as noted by county election officials.
