Texas CEO and Two Children Among Four Killed in Thanksgiving Eve Crash
Zach Muckleroy's wife, Lauren, survives in critical condition as investigation into cause of the collision continues.
- Zach Muckleroy, CEO of Fort Worth-based Muckleroy & Falls, and his two children, Judson and Lindsay, were killed in a three-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 281 near Johnson City, Texas, while traveling to a Thanksgiving gathering.
- The Muckleroy family's Chevrolet SUV was hit head-on by a Toyota traveling in the opposite direction, which veered across the highway. A Nissan Versa also traveling southbound subsequently hit the Chevrolet and rolled her car.
- Lauren Muckleroy, wife of Zach and mother of Judson and Lindsay, was the only survivor from the Chevrolet SUV. She was airlifted to an Austin hospital in critical condition.
- The driver of the Toyota was also killed in the crash, bringing the total fatalities to four. The driver of the Nissan was treated at the scene and released.
- An investigation into the collision is ongoing, and it is currently unclear why the Toyota crossed into the southbound lane.
