Texas Attorney Fatally Shot While Mediating Dispute at McDonald's

Jeffrey Limmer, a Houston lawyer, was killed trying to de-escalate a conflict with an irate customer demanding a refund.

The incident occurred outside a Houston McDonald’s where Limmer attempted to calm the customer who was upset over his order.
The altercation escalated when the customer retrieved a gun from his vehicle and shot Limmer, who later died from his injuries.
Limmer, described by his sister as a 'good Samaritan,' often advocated for others and sought to diffuse tense situations.
The gunman, who fled the scene in a blue Ford pickup truck, remains at large as police continue their search.
