Texas A&M quarterback Conner Weigman suffered a lower leg injury during the Auburn game and is expected to miss the remainder of the 2022 season.
Weigman had been impressive in his four starts this season, passing for 979 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions.
Former LSU transfer Max Johnson will take over as the starting quarterback for the Aggies.
Johnson has starting experience from his 2021 season at LSU where he started all 12 games.
Texas A&M is hoping Johnson can lead the offense for the rest of the 2023 season with Weigman sidelined by injury.
