• Reveille X underwent surgery at Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital to address glaucoma-related discomfort
• Veterinarians discovered abnormal tissue during the procedure and removed her right eye out of an abundance of caution
• Gen. Mark A. Welsh III said she has been discharged and is resting comfortably under veterinary supervision
• The excised tissue has been sent to an ocular pathologist for further analysis
• She will pause public appearances while recovering and is slated to resume classes and football sideline duties in the fall semester
