Texas AG's Securities Fraud Trial Moved to Houston; Faces Calls for Removal and Prison Time

Ken Paxton's securities fraud trial from 2015 will now take place in Houston instead of his hometown near Dallas.
Paxton faces removal from office following his impeachment by the Texas House of Representatives in May.
Paxton also faces a trial in the Texas Senate which is set to begin no later than August.
If convicted of securities fraud charges, Paxton faces up to 99 years in prison.
Paxton's attorney called the court's decision to move the trial to Houston a "loser" for prosecutors.
