Texans' C.J. Stroud Named Offensive Rookie of the Year Finalist and Pro Bowl Participant

In his first season, Stroud led the Texans to the playoffs and is hopeful for the team's future.

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has been named a finalist for the Offensive Rookie of the Year for the 2023 season after throwing for 4,108 yards and 23 touchdowns, and leading the NFL in yards per game.
Stroud has also been selected to participate in the 2024 Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, Florida, after leading the Texans to the playoffs.
In his first season, Stroud took the Texans from a 3-13-1 record in 2022 to a 10-7 record and an AFC South crown in 2023.
Stroud threw for 274 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions in a playoff win over the Cleveland Browns, marking the franchise's first postseason victory since the 2019 campaign.
Stroud has expressed his excitement and honor to be a finalist for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, and is hopeful for the future of the Texans.
