TestSprite Raises $6.7 Million to Scale Autonomous AI Code Testing

The Seattle startup pitches an autonomous agent to close the validation gap created by AI code generators.

Overview

  • Trilogy Equity Partners led the $6.7 million seed round, bringing TestSprite’s total funding to $8.1 million with participation from Techstars, Jinqiu Capital, MiraclePlus, Hat-trick Capital, Baidu Ventures, and EdgeCase Capital Partners.
  • TestSprite’s platform embeds an autonomous agent into AI-enabled IDEs and its MCP server to generate, run, and update frontend and backend tests, diagnose failures, and suggest fixes.
  • The company says its user base grew 483% in one quarter to more than 35,000 developers, including users at large tech firms, following the launch of TestSprite 2.0 and its MCP integration.
  • New funding will expand engineering and deepen capabilities in automatic test generation, AI-powered test healing, and intelligent monitoring while scaling infrastructure for high-frequency code changes.
  • Positioning testing as the new bottleneck in AI-assisted development, TestSprite claims it can cut validation cycles from days to minutes and is targeting industry-standard status by mid-2026.
