Tesla's highly anticipated Cybertruck is set to officially launch this week, with the company hosting a ceremonial delivery event on November 30th.
Despite the hype, reports suggest that as few as 10 Cybertrucks may actually be delivered to customers at the event, though production and deliveries are expected to ramp up quickly thereafter.
Current shipment estimates for the Cybertruck are 100-200 units in 2023, 100,000-120,000 units in 2024, and 240,000-260,000 units in 2025.
Tesla has begun showcasing the Cybertruck at select showrooms across the United States and Canada, drawing large crowds and long lines of eager fans.
The Cybertruck, boasting a range of up to 500 miles per charge, a towing capacity of 14,000 pounds, and the ability to go from 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, is expected to take market share away from other electric vehicle trucks.
