Tesla Slashes Full Self-Driving Package Price to $8,000

The price reduction comes as Tesla moves FSD from beta to a 'Supervised' stage, still requiring driver oversight.

Tesla has reduced the price of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) package from $12,000 to $8,000 in the U.S. and from 16,000CAD to 11,000CAD in Canada.
The monthly subscription fee for FSD has also been halved from $199 to $99, now available in both the U.S. and Canada.
FSD, previously in beta, has been renamed to 'Supervised' to reflect ongoing driver supervision requirements despite advancements.
The price cut is part of broader efforts to make Tesla's advanced driving features more accessible amid financial pressures on the company.
Tesla's recent moves, including workforce reductions and a focus on FSD, aim to bolster its financial position ahead of its quarterly earnings call.
