Tesla Secures Gurugram EV Hub Under Nine-Year Lease as Delhi Charging Network Expands

Tesla’s new Gurugram lease signals consolidation of its customer operations ahead of deploying four high-capacity V4 Supercharger sites in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai.

Overview

  • The 33,000–33,475 sq ft Gurugram facility at Orchid Business Park is leased for nine years with a three-year lock-in and monthly rent of about Rs 40 lakh.
  • The ground-floor space will integrate a showroom, full-scale service centre and delivery hub to streamline Tesla’s customer operations in the Delhi-NCR region.
  • Tesla plans to deploy four V4 Supercharger stations—one each in Saket, Aerocity, Golf Course Road in Gurgaon and Noida—equipped with 16 superchargers and 15 destination chargers.
  • A second Indian showroom is scheduled to open on August 11 at Worldmark 3 in Delhi’s Aerocity, expanding Tesla’s retail footprint beyond its initial Mumbai debut.
  • This import-focused rollout follows India’s revised luxury EV duties and highlights Tesla’s phased retail and infrastructure strategy in a high-tariff environment.
