Tesla Raises Q3–Q4 Output Plans at Berlin-Area Factory

Plant chief cites stronger order signals across more than 30 markets.

Overview

  • Factory head André Thierig told DPA the site has very good sales figures and has revised production plans higher for the third and fourth quarters.
  • The Grünheide facility supplies well over 30 markets beyond Germany, including wider Europe and other regions, where management reports a positive demand trend.
  • Tesla did not disclose specific volume targets or model details for the updated production schedule.
  • German registrations remain weak, with KBA data showing July sales more than halved to 1,110 and January–July down 57.8% year over year.
  • Analysts say the guidance lift has supported near-term investor sentiment as the company navigates rising competition from Chinese EV makers and recent Model Y production changes.
