Tesla Raises Model 3 and Model Y Ranges, Brings Back Turn‑Signal Stalk on Model 3

The revised models are now live in Tesla's configurator at unchanged prices.

Overview

  • Tesla is using higher energy‑density battery cells that increase WLTP‑rated ranges for both lineups.
  • Updated WLTP figures for Model 3 are RWD 520 km on 19‑inch wheels or an estimated 554 km on 18‑inch, Long Range RWD 750 km, Long Range AWD an estimated 716 km, and Performance 571 km.
  • The Model Y Maximal Range all‑wheel‑drive variant rises to an estimated 629 km WLTP, with other Model Y versions retaining prior range ratings.
  • Model 3 restores a physical turn‑signal stalk following complaints about the button‑based indicators introduced with the 2023 facelift.
  • A new front camera on Model 3 provides an expanded view on the main display and includes washing and heating to prevent fogging or icing.
