Overview

  • The Tesla Hollywood Diner & Drive-In began public operations on July 21–22, converting a former Shakey’s Pizza site into an 80-stall V4 Supercharger hub with full diner and drive-in amenities.
  • Diners can order burgers, hot dogs, wings, fries and hand-spun milkshakes from their vehicle’s touchscreen via the Tesla Diner app, with meals arriving in Cybertruck-style packaging.
  • Two 45-foot LED screens offer drive-in movie showings that sync audio directly to Tesla in-car systems over the venue’s Wi-Fi.
  • Optimus humanoid robots and roller-skating staff deliver food and popcorn, highlighting Tesla’s push into automated service.
  • Following Elon Musk’s praise of the venue, Tesla is studying this model for future sites around the world, including a planned location at SpaceX’s Starbase in Texas.
